William’s avid interest in knowing how things work dates to early childhood, and he’s developed a keen ability to understand complex concepts in deep detail. His IT career began in 1996 as an intern for a startup ISP based in Clemson, SC. Later, he relocated to the Lowcountry and in 2000 founded Beacon Communications, LLC. In the wild, William can be found behind a camera – capturing live music video, photographing nature or preserving family history. William, his wife Stephanie, and their age 11 going on 21 daughter live in West Ashley, and together relish in pizza and live music.
